Mr. Caleb Jackson, Principal

I am thrilled to be joining the Royal Ridge family as your Principal. I have heard so many wonderful things about the staff, students and community of Royal Ridge and I am looking forward to working alongside you and supporting you in any way I can.

This will be my 26th year in NEISD, most recently serving as the AP at Colonial Hills Elementary for the past 11 years and Woodstone ES. Before becoming part of the administration team at Colonial Hills, I taught 4th and 5th grade at Jackson Keller Elementary for 10 years and served as the Math Instructional Coach at JK for another 3 years.

Going back even further, I graduated from Trinity University in 1999 with my Bachelor's Degree and in 2000 with my Master's.

My wife is also a member of the Northeast family, currently teaching PreK at Stahl Elementary. Together, we have two beautiful children.

When I am not at work, I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading, running, playing golf, or participating in other physical activities.

Title IX Coordinator & Campus Behavior Coordinator

The Title IX Coordinator/Campus Behavior Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining student discipline and the implementation of this subchapter and for responding to all complaints of possible sex discrimination and coordinating proper responses to complaints.

Mrs. Shannon Kalisky, Assistant Principal

I am thrilled and honored to continue serving the Royal Ridge community. My journey in education spans 30 years with NEISD, including 18 years here at Royal Ridge serving as both a school counselor and assistant principal.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, followed by a Master of Arts in Counseling , which shapes my approach to supporting the whole child. I believe in supporting the whole child-fostering not only academic achievement, but also the social and emotional well-being of every student.

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 21 years, and we are parents to two boys. Our oldest, Vincent, is heading into his sophomore year at Texas Tech, and our youngest, Henry, is entering his senior year at Churchill.
